Subject: How many tires do you have to maintain?

Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA
I had the same tire go flat twice on our Sunflower disk this week. I thought the tire guys missed something the first time, but the second time there was a hypodermic needle stuck in the tire. I looked at the tractor/disk/rolling harrow and realized that there were 20 tires on the rig that I expected to say inflated. That and the post below about number of tractors where someone mentioned oil changes and tires made me wonder, how many tires do you have to maintain? I'm not counting spares or antique tractors, but things you use: tractors, trucks, trailers, pickups, center pivots, etc.

I was a little surprised when my quick tabulation added up to 626 tires. That doesn't even count the center pivots where the landlord does the maintenance. No wonder I'm at the tire shop so often.
